Chapels in Tervuren
A chapel is a holy place of worship for christians. Regarding the  history of Tervuren and its strong catholic heritage it will come as no surprise  that we'll find many of these chapels within the boundaries of the municipality. Some of them obsolete and damaged , others well kept and still heavily in use. Some of them  spacious enough to accomodate a group of visitors.
chap Corner of De Robianostraat and Brusselsesteenweg. Right in the village center.
chap5 Corner of  Hertenbergstraat and Duisburgsesteenweg.
chap4 Corner of Eikestraat and Beukenlaan. Proprietary chapel. Close to Arboretum.
chap8 Saint Hubertus chapel-Sint Hubertus kapel. West of  Kasteelvijver, close to villagecenter.  Former castle chapel dedicated to Saint Hubertus.
chap9 Roelandsheidestraat. 1879, dedicated to Lourdes.
chapel12 IJzerstraat. 1729. Chapel with about twenty seats.
chapel16 Overijsesteenweg. Inside you'll find a Maria statue.
chapel20 Crossroads. Kleermakerstraatje, Huldenbergstraat, Glazemakerstraat. 1863, and dedicated to St Barbara. For protection against sudden death.
chapel24 Southside Glazemakerstraat, close to Bosweg and Leeuwweg. 1876.
chapel30 Veeweidestraat, Duisburg. Integrated in a regular house.
chapel31 Rootstraat, between Duisburg and Vossem.
chapel33 Corner Mechelsestraat and Hertswegenweg. Dedicated to saint Barbara, 1850.
chapel37 Achterstraat. Park-Zuid.
chapel40 Corner Beeldekensgatstraat and Tervuursesteenweg. Park-Zuid. Refuge for sinners.
